Kristen Keats was recently published in the Portland Business Journal for her insights on the tax landscape for 2023.
She says “It’s my guess that many tax preparers will turn away clients simply due to bandwidth. As much as they’d like to, accountants don’t have the time, nor manpower, to sift through a messy stack of unorganized bank receipts to do a year’s worth of bookkeeping as preparation for a small business owner’s Schedule C.”
