+ Meet Kristen

Kristen Keats, CPA is a community leader with over twenty years of experience serving small businesses and self-employed clients. Kristen has worked for both large and small firms over the course of her career, most recently as a senior manager at a regional tax firm. She has also served in industry positions. In addition to her work as a CPA, is the proud founder of [Breakaway Bookkeeping + Advising][0], an innovative small business advisory firm focusing on technology and community.

Kristen is dedicated to her clients, always going above and beyond, and using the best tools and technology available to help her do so. She understands that being a CPA means so much more than just making sure her clients are tax compliant. Her work allows clients to set and achieve meaningful goals and grow their businesses in the ways that work for them.

Kristen has been a resident of Sherwood for over 15 years and cherishes the vibrant community she calls home. She is the treasurer of the Sherwood High School Band Boosters and was formerly the treasurer for local Boy Scout Troop #224. In her free time, Kristen enjoys reading, camping, travelling, and spending time with her two teens.

+ Meet Stephanie

Stephanie is an Enrolled Agent (federally licensed tax professional) with 20 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience. She started working in the tax field 10 years ago and has enjoyed specializing in small business and individual taxation.

Stephanie enjoys problem solving and numbers. She has a degree in Accounting from Southern Oregon University and earned her Enrolled Agent license in 2015.

Born and raised in Cottage Grove, OR, she now calls Gig Harbor home with her husband and dog. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, cheering on soccer games with her husband, and spending time with her stepkids, and family.

Originally from Spokane, WA, Emily is a certified public accountant (CPA) and has worked in accounting since 2014. Her and her husband live in Spokane with their two cats and two dogs. When not at work, she enjoys computer games, reading, exploring WA's backgroads on motorcylce, and going to concerts.

+ Meet Jennifer

Jennifer has recently joined us from New York City where she previously worked as an administrator at the NYU Langone Medical Center.

Jennifer is passionate about client experience and is enjoying getting to know the Sherwood Tax community. Jennifer is an avid traveller and amateur photographer. She looks forward to exploring her new home in the Pacific Northwest and would love to know your favorite place to hike or taste a local brew.

+ Meet Claudia

Claudia Orozco graduated from the Universidad Panamericana (campus guadalajar) with a degree in Public Accounting. With over 15 years of auditing and general accounting experience, she is happy to join the Sherwood Tax Team!

Her hobbies are going out with friends and family, discovering new places to eat, but the main one is traveling!!! especially going to the beach with her husband Rodrigo and her baby “BabyRo” (Rodrigo Jr.) who is almost 3 years old. In her day to day, she likes to go for a walk with her family and her dog “Bono”.

+ Meet Lisbeth

Originally from the US, Lisbeth comes to us from the beautiful city of Guadalajara, Mexico. She is a 2020 graduate of the ITESO Jesuit University with a degree in financial administration and has over 5 years of experience, serving businesses both large and small.

In her free time, Lisbeth enjoys playing with her new puppy, Rocko, and learning about the history of abandoned places.

Saulo graduated form the University of Guadalajara with a degree in Public Accounting. He joins Sherwood Tax as a staff accountant.

Saulo enjoys playing video games, listening to music, and spending time with his fiance Araceli. They just recently got engaged! Saulo also loves soccer and basketball.

We are pleased to welcome Julia from our Guadalajara team. Julia is excited to meet the Sherwood Tax community.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and puppy, watching movies and series, and continuing to learn.

+ Meet Kendall

Kendall is very excited to join the Sherwood Tax team and to get to know the community. This Oregonian loves spending their time outside, playing with their cats, Atticus and Ezra, cooking, and watching Formula 1 with their dad.

+ Meet Ely

Ely Uribe graduated from the University of Guadalajara with a degree in Public Accounting.With more than 10 years of experience and a lot of love for her career, she is very happy to be part of the great team that is Sherwood Tax and always with the best service attitude.

Together with her husband and their 2 cats (Figaro & Fiona) and their dog (Coffee), they love to travel and see new places, as well as biking, camping and enjoying the outdoor.

+ Meet Chrissie

Chrissie joined Sherwood Tax in 2018. She moved to Portland to attend Lewis and Clark Law School in 1995 and decide to make Oregon her home. Now retired from the legal field, Chrissie steps in during tax time as an Office Assistant to help organize and manage the tax preparation work during our busy season.

Ruby spends her days getting pets from our team and clients alike. Her favorite activities include eating snacks, barking at other dogs when they're having too much fun, and attending NY Fashion Week to add to her collection of couture sweaters.
